The most exciting game of round 17 in the NPBA took place in Nassau. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placedRockets (12-5) to second ranked High Flyers (15-2) 86-83 in the game for the second place. High Flyers forced 21 Rockets turnovers. Strangely Rockets outrebounded High Flyers 53-39 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international forward Qyemah Gibson (196-1997, college: St.Mary's) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 8 rebounds. Center Kemsey Sylvestre contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. High Flyers' coach used entire bench in such tough game. Roosevelt Whylly answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and the former international guard Abel Joseph (200-1990, college: Holland) added 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Rockets. High Flyers maintains second place with 15-2 record having just one point less than leader Giants. Rockets at the other side keep the third position with five games lost.
