Another exciting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Bridgetown:Celtics (#1) and Lakers (#4). Celtics (9-0) crushed visiting Lakers (5-4) by 24 points 94-70 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lakers. Celtics looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Celtics made 7 blocks. The former international guard Kiserian Adams (193-2000, college: Baton Rouge) nailed 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and power forward Joel Hunte accounted for 22 points and 6 rebounds. Celtics' coach C Vanderpool felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Tyreke Harewood (, college: Orange CC) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Primus Walrond (201, college: Baton Rouge) added 22 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Lakers in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Celtics . They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Loser Lakers keep the fourth position with four games lost.
