Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Bridgetown:Cavaliers (#3) and Pinelands (#5). Cavaliers (8-2) smashed visiting Pinelands (3-7) by 18 points 96-78 . Cavaliers made 29-of-38 charity shots (76.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 33 Pinelands turnovers and outrebounded them 42-30 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pinelands were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international forward Saeed Norville (201-1992) notched 21 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and swingman Deveron Knight (190-2000) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 9 steals (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) by guard Rachad Hall (183) did not help to save the game for Pinelands . American swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) added 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for lost side. Five Cavaliers and four Pinelands players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cavaliers have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Celtics. Pinelands at the other side keep the fifth place with seven games lost.
