Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Bridgetown:Cavaliers (#3) and Lakers (#4). Cavaliers (9-2) crushed visiting Lakers (6-5) by 37 points 118-81 . Cavaliers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Lakers ' 40. Cavaliers forced 25 Lakers turnovers and outrebounded them 50-34 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cavaliers players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists. Swingman Deveron Knight (190-2000) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Gavin Phillips contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Cavaliers players scored in double figures. The former international guard Keefe Birkett (183-1988) answered with 31 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and center Tyreke Harewood (, college: Orange CC) added 18 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Lakers. Cavaliers have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Bulls. Lakers at the other side keep the fourth position with five games lost.
