Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Bridgetown: Cavaliers and Lakers. Cavaliers crushed visiting Lakers by 26 points 104-78. Cavaliers dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Lakers' 26. They outrebounded Lakers 60-28 including a 24-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cavaliers players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international guard Deveron Knight (195-2000) nailed a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winning side and guard Gavin Phillips accounted for 14 points and 11 rebounds. Center Tyreke Harewood (, college: Orange CC) came up with 26 points and 7 rebounds and Dijon Hunte added 19 points and 6 assists respectively for Lakers in the defeat. Cavaliers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bridgetown Pinelands.
