Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Bridgetown:Celtics (#2) and Pinelands (#4). Celtics (4-0) crushed visiting Pinelands (1-2) by 27 points 88-61 . Celtics forced 38 Pinelands turnovers and had a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Kiserian Adams (193-2000, college: Baton Rouge) who led the winners and scored 32 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) accounted for 13 points, 6 assists and 7 steals for the winning side. Four Celtics players scored in double figures. The former international Carl Thorpe (201-2001, college: York, NE) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Nathan Estwick added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Pinelands in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
