Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Bridgetown:Bears (#7) and Tridents (#8). Bears (1-2) won against visiting Tridents (0-3) 94-81 . They outrebounded Tridents 53-27 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bears players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Tridents ' players. It was a great evening for Antoine Winter who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. The former international Mark Bridgeman (198-1990) helped adding 21 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Zane Gaskin with 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and guard Nathaniel Scott scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
