The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bridgetown:Pinelands (#6) and Tridents (#7). Pinelands (2-3) smashed visiting Tridents (0-5) by 59 points 117-58 . Pinelands dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Tridents ' 32. Pinelands forced 30 Tridents turnovers and outrebounded them 52-36 including 20 on the offensive glass. Pinelands looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Tridents ' players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Carl Thorpe (201-2001, college: York, NE) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and guard Rachad Hall (183) who added 18 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Pinelands players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nathan Griffith responded with 5 points and 11 rebounds and guard Zane Gaskin scored 4 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pinelands moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lakers. Tridents at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost.
