Another exciting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Bridgetown:Cavaliers (#1) and Pinelands (#4). Pinelands were defeated at home 65-71 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pinelands. Cavaliers forced 24 Pinelands turnovers. The former international guard Deveron Knight (195-2000) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Stephan Ottley (-1993) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Four Cavaliers players scored in double figures. The former international Carl Thorpe (201-2001, college: York, NE) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and guard Rachad Hall (183) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Cavaliers (8-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Loser Pinelands keep the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Lakers.
