The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bridgetown:Tridents (#8) and Lakers (#5). Tridents (1-8) smashed visiting Lakers (4-5) by 22 points 111-89 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lakers. Tridents dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Lakers ' 42. They outrebounded Lakers 58-47 including a 43-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tridents looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Darreon Griffin who scored 36 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Zane Gaskin chipped in 25 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Tridents' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brandon Ruck produced a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Keefe Birkett (183-1988) added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Four Lakers players scored in double figures. Tridents left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Warrens. Lakers at the other side keep the fifth position with five games lost.
