Regular Season Round 2: Suns - Thunderbolts 67-65

This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Thunderbolts to Suns 67-65 on Saturday evening. Suns forced 32 Thunderbolts turnovers. Strangely Thunderbolts outrebounded Suns 53-37 including 19 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Jason Vasquez who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international Gregory Rudon (181-1984) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Matthew Young produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 27 rebounds and the former international Glency Lopez (180-1997, college: Midland CC) added 25 points and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Suns is looking forward to face Panthers in Punta Gorda in the next round. Thunderbolts will have a break next round.
