No shocking result in a game when fourth rankedWestern Ballaz (5-4) beat bottom-ranked Suns (2-7) in San Ignacio 83-71 on Friday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Western Ballaz made 7 blocks. Forward Arik Nicholas (196, college: ACU) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Anthony Howell (201, college: ACU) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Even 23 points and 9 rebounds by American power forward Jamaal Clifton (198-1998, college: Langston) did not help to save the game for Suns . His fellow American import forward Kevin Jones (203-1989, college: WVU) added 12 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four Suns players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Western Ballaz maintains fourth position with 5-4 record. Newly promoted Suns dropped to the bottom place with seven games lost.
