The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second rankedDefenders (6-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Suns (1-7). Defenders smashed Suns 92-50 . Defenders dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Suns ' 26. Defenders forced 23 Suns turnovers. It was a good game for American swingman Ajang Aguek (201-2000, college: Lander) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Defenders players scored in double figures. Joshua McLaughlin answered with 9 points and American swingman Eddie Ishman (197-1986, college: Miles) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Suns. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defenders have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-2 record having just one point less than leader Western Ballers. Suns at the other side keep the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Trojans.
