Very important is a road loss of third rankedWestern Ballaz (6-3) against fifth ranked Dream Ballers (4-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Western Ballaz was crushed by Dream Ballers in Dangriga 101-75 . Dream Ballers dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Western Ballaz ' 32. Dream Ballers had a 33-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Western Ballers ' players. It was an exceptional evening for forward Arik Nicholas (196, college: ACU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Kevon Laurie accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Five Dream Ballers players scored in double figures. American swingman Mark Gordon (196, college: Keiser) came up with 29 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Victor Evans (193, college: Vanguard) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Western Ballers in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dream Ballers maintains fifth place with 4-5 record. Western Ballers at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost.
