An interesting game for Leones which hosted in Potosi Carl A-Z. Leones managed to get a 4-point victory 59-55. The former international guard Diego Olguin (186-1995) notched 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and the former international swingman Luis Salinas (194-1998) supported him with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by Cuban guard Daniel Simon (185-1996) did not help to save the game for Carl A-Z. Jesus Virhuez added 12 points and 17 rebounds for the guests. Four Carl A-Z players scored in double figures. Carl A-Z's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Leones will meet at home Kinwa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Carl A-Z will play against Pichincha and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
