Regular Season Round 6: Sorocabana - Corinthians 64-78

Paulista top team -Corinthians (6-0) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat eighth ranked Sorocabana (2-5) 78-64 . Corinthians shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international point guard Elio Corazza (195-1989, college: Miami Dade CC) scored 15 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Victao Camilo (203-1997) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Corinthians players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Danilo Penteado (199-1999) with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Victor Silva (197-2001) scored 17 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Corinthians have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Sorocabana at the other side dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. They share the position with Pinheiros.
