A very close game took place in Sao Paulo betweenPaulistano and Pinheiros . Fifth ranked Paulistano (9-5) got a very close home victory over 4th placed Pinheiros (8-6). Paulistano managed to escape with a 2-point win 107-105 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Pinheiros. Loser Pinheiros dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Sao Jose.
