There was a small surprise when eleventh rankedMandic Basket (3-11) defeated on the road 9th ranked Osasco (3-11) 96-89 on Tuesday. Mandic Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Osasco 's 28. They outrebounded Osasco 41-25 including 31 on the defensive glass. Mandic Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Stan Scott (193-1998, college: MSSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and Leonardo Jacon (199-1996, college: Southeastern) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side Matheus Weber (194-2000) responded with 29 points and 6 rebounds and Argentinian guard Alejo Britos (187-1994) scored 20 points and 9 assists. Five Mandic Basket and four Osasco players scored in double figures. Mandic Basket moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Osasco and Sorocabana. Osasco lost seventh consecutive game.
