An interesting game took place in Rio de Janeiro, whereBotafogo (1-2) lost at home to UNIFACISA (2-1) 72-85 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American guard Melvin Johnson (193-1993, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. Venezuelan guard Yohanner Sifontes (192-1995) helped adding 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four UNIFACISA players scored in double figures. UNIFACISA's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Decensae White (198-1988, college: SF State) with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Lucas Lacerda (179-1997) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
