Bottom-rankedVasco (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 77-54 loss to tenth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (5-4) in Bauru. Pedro Infante contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international Wesley Ferreira (201-1995) replied with 11 points and 5 rebounds and guard Luiz Basilio (192-1991) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Vasco. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bauru moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Paulistano. Vasco at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
