Very predictable result in Belo Horizonte where second rankedMinas (10-2) beat 11th ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (5-7) 94-88 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Minas shot 27 for 36 from the free-throw line, while Bauru only scored ten points from the stripe. Minas looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Alexandre Paranhos who helped to win the game recording 22 points and the former international guard Danilo Fuzaro (193-1994) who added 15 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Alex Garcia (191-1980, agency: Interperformances) with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international guard Adyel Borges (190-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Minas maintains second position with 10-2 record behind leader Flamengo. Bauru lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with seven games lost.
