We should mention about the upset which took place in Bauru, where higher rankedCorinthians (9-4) lost to twelfth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (7-8) in a road game 84-94 on Wednesday. Bauru forced 20 Corinthians turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for Andrezao Barbosa de Abreu who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Venezuelan swingman Jose Materan (198-1996) helped adding 24 points. Four Paschoalotto/Bauru players scored in double figures. Paschoalotto/Bauru's coach Paulo Cezar Martins used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American guard Davaunta Thomas (196-1995, college: UAFS) with 24 points and 4 assists and the other American import guard Elyjah Clark (191-1998, college: MSSU) scored 22 points. Bauru moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Corinthians dropped to the sixth position with four games lost.
