Very expected game when 16th rankedOsasco (4-12) was smashed by eleventh ranked UNIFACISA (7-7) in Paraiba 89-70 on Friday. UniFacisa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Venezuelan guard Yohanner Sifontes (192-1995) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Fermin Thygesen supported him with 17 points and 6 assists. Five UNIFACISA players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by power forward Tarek Santana (205-2001, agency: Daggers Sports) did not help to save the game for Osasco . American guard Malcolm Miller (201-1991, college: Southern) added 18 points for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. UniFacisa maintains eleventh position with 7-7 record, which they share with U.Corinthians and Caxias do Sul. Osasco lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with 12 games lost.
