Very predictable result when third rankedMinas (19-4) won against 15th ranked Pato (5-18) in Belo Horizonte 75-67 on Wednesday. Minas forced 19 Pato turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American forward Erik McCree (202-1993, college: La Tech) who scored that evening 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import swingman Jordan Williams (196-1992, college: N.Texas) supported him with 13 points. Four Minas players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds by center Joao Fidelis (205-2001) did not help to save the game for Pato . American guard Tradavis Thompson (188-2000, college: Lyn, agency: Starting 5) added 19 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Minas moved-up to second place, which they share with Sesi/Franca and Pinheiros. Pato lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Cearense.
