Third ranked Ancud (8-2) crushed at home 12th ranked Puerto Montt (3-9) by 71 points 121-50, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Ancud dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Puerto Montt's 30. Ancud forced 22 Puerto Montt turnovers and outrebounded them 59-28 including a 43-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ancud maintains third place with 8-2 record behind leader Los Leones. Puerto Montt lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. Ancud will meet at home Puerto Varas (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Puerto Montt will play against Castro and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
