Regular Season Round 4: Valdivia - Espanol O. 69-83
Date: November 2, 2024
No shocking result in a game when second rankedEspanol (2-2) beat on the road bottom-ranked Valdivia (0-5) 83-69 on Saturday. Espanol looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by the former international Sebastian Suarez (193-1991, college: Portland St.) who scored that evening 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Ivorian forward Mike Fofana (206-1997, college: HSU) supported him with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by Argentinian point guard Enzo Amado (183-1995) did not help to save the game for Valdivia . American center Chris Ware (203-1989, college: Indiana Tech) added 15 points for lost side. Despite that victory Espanol went down to third position due to points difference. Loser Valdivia still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Espanol. They will meet league's second-placed Ancud on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Valdivia will play against the league's leader Univ.Concepcion (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
