Regular Season Round 5: Los Leones - Colo Colo 97-85

Colo Colo (#4) was upset in Quilpue by leader Los Leones 97-85 . Los Leones shot 61.4 percent from the field. American center Roquez Johnson (201-1992, college: MSU, agency: BIG) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Darrol Jones (193-1994) accounted for 19 points and 5 assists. The former international Jorge Schuler (199-1987) came up with 17 points and American power forward Domonta Wright (202-1999, college: Cleveland St.) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Colo Colo in the defeat. Five Los Leones and four Colo Colo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Los Leones have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion (3-0) moved-up to fourth place. Colo Colo at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Puerto Varas and Ancud.
