Very expected game when 10th rankedValdivia (2-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Ancud (4-3) 77-66 on Sunday. Ancud made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Colombian Alvaro Pena (197-1995, agency: Starting 5) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Alejandro Vergara (196-1995) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) during the contest. Four Ancud players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) with 21 points and 9 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Enzo Amado (183-1995) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Valdivia's coach Ricardo Araujo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ancud moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Colo Colo and Puerto Varas. Valdivia lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost.
