Visiting Univ.Concepcion was defeated by Valdivia in a tough game in Valdivia 79-88 . It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Univ.Concepcion. The former international guard Erik Carrasco (181-1983) nailed 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Argentinian point guard Enzo Amado (183-1995) accounted for 22 points. Valdivia maintains eleventh place with 5-17 record. Loser Univ.Concepcion keeps the second position with four games lost. Valdivia will meet higher ranked Ancud (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Univ.Concepcion will play against Puerto Varas (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
