There was a small surprise when The Sharks edged at home Arabe de Valp. 71-69 on Saturday. The Sharks forced 25 Arabe de Valp. turnovers. Strangely Arabe de Valp. outrebounded The Sharks 47-22 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was power forward Juan Videla (195-1989) who scored 17 points. Ignacio Villarroel (-2003) chipped in 13 points and 7 steals. The Sharks' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Hilario Sanchez (-1999) produced 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American Jeremiah Toney (196-1998, college: Southwest, agency: Starting 5) added 18 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests.
