Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago:Puente Alto (#1) and Brisas (#6). Puente Alto (8-1) crushed visiting Brisas (1-8) by 35 points 84-49 . Puente Alto forced 21 Brisas turnovers. American guard Kwanza Murray (170-1996, college: Lincoln, PA) nailed 34 points (!!!) for the winning side and Josefa Orrego (172-2003) accounted for 8 points and 6 rebounds. Paulina Henrriquez (-1986) came up with 17 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the former international forward Javiera Morales (178-1992) added 11 points respectively for Brisas in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Puente Alto have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Brisas at the other side keep the sixth position with eight games lost.
