No shocking result in a game in Santiago where second rankedLuis Matte (4-2) smashed 5th ranked Brisas (1-5) 82-60 on Saturday. Luis Matte outrebounded Brisas 45-34 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Luis Matte looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Eddison Gomez (-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Boris Guerra (-1987) who added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Luis Matte players scored in double figures. Cuban guard Luis Cuttis (-1995) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Dhuball Jara scored 4 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Luis Matte maintains second position with 4-2 record having just three points less than leader Illaplel, which they share with Liceo Curico. Loser Brisas keep the fifth place with five games lost.
