Sportiva Ita. forced 19 Puente Alto turnovers and outrebounded them 37-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Martina Pereira (166-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds. The former international swingman Thiare Garcia (179-2000) contributed with 15 points and 8 assists for the winners. Four Sportiva Ita. players scored in double figures. American guard Kwanza Murray (170-1996, college: Lincoln, PA) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Damaris Alarcon (167-2003) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for Puente Alto.
