Seventh-rankedEspanol (1-9) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Boston College (5-6) in Santiago on Friday. Boston College managed to secure only two-point victory 92-90 . However their fans expected easier game. Boston College made 26-of-28 free shots (92.9 percent) during the game, while Espanol only scored nine points from the stripe. American-Egyptian forward Adam Afifi (206-2000, college: CSUDH) notched a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) to lead the effort and American guard Bradlee Haskell (188-2003, college: UNCP) supported him with 29 points and 5 steals (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). Four Boston College players scored in double figures. Even 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists by Argentinian Ramiro Montes (-1991) did not help to save the game for Espanol . American forward Aseem Luckey (206-2001, college: Williams Baptist) added 27 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Boston College maintains fourth position with 5-6 record. Espanol lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost.
