Regular Season Round 6: Huachipato - La Union 71-79

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengersHuachipato (2-3) was defeated at home by fourth ranked La Union (2-3) 79-71 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Argentinian-Italian forward Stefano Alesso (213-2003, college: Stetson) who scored 20 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. Benjamin Fehrmann (-2004) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Four La Union players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Pedro Martis who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and forward Jose Vicencio (-2001) added 13 points respectively. Huachipato's coach Gabriel Schamberger let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. La Union moved-up to third place, which they share with Liceo Curico and Huachipato.
