No shocking result in a game when first rankedTemuco (5-2) crushed at home 4th ranked La Union (2-4) 102-77 on Sunday. Temuco forced 22 La Union turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by guard Francisco Atala (-1994) who scored that evening 26 points and 9 rebounds and Celneque Bobbitt supported him with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Temuco players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds by Argentinian-Italian forward Stefano Alesso (213-2003, college: Stetson) did not help to save the game for La Union . American guard Irin Stark (185-1989, college: STAC, agency: VSG) added 28 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Temuco maintains first position with 5-2 record. Loser La Union dropped to the fifth place with four games lost.
