The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedMotilones (12-2) in Cucuta on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Cimarrones (4-8) 86-79 . It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Motilones. Cimarrones forced 25 Motilones turnovers. Strangely Motilones outrebounded Cimarrones 50-29 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard DaQuan Brooks (177-1990, college: W.Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international forward Michael Jackson (192-1987) who added 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. Center Jhon Hernandez (208-1984) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds and Dominican power forward Juan Rosario (203-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four Motilones players scored in double figures. Motilones' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cimarrones maintains sixth position with 4-8 record. Motilones at the other side still keep top place with two games lost.
