Regular Season Round 11: Toros Del Valle - Paisas 106-75

There was no surprise in Cali where 6th rankedPaisas (6-12) were crushed by third ranked Toros (12-7) 106-75 on Friday. Toros Del Valle shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) helped adding 23 points. Five Toros players scored in double figures. American guard Mascio McCadney (190-1998, college: MSU-Northern) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and Miguel Caicedo (186-2001) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toros have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Toros Del Valle moved-up to second place. Paisas lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost.
