Very important is a road loss of second rankedStorm (14-9) against sixth ranked Paisas (11-13) on Thursday night. Visiting Storm was defeated by Paisas in Medellin 100-88 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Storm. Paisas players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Carrib.Storm 's players. American guard Mascio McCadney (190-1998, college: MSU-Northern) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import JR Holder (198-1994, college: Jacksonville) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Forward Yustin Llerena (195-2002) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and power forward Keiff Walters (195-1995) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Carrib.Storm. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Paisas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Piratas. Carrib.Storm at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost.
