No shocking result in a game when first rankedPaisas (5-1) crushed 4th ranked Cimarrones (1-5) in Medellin 97-77 on Sunday. Paisas outrebounded Cimarrones 43-24 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Paisas shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by guard Brandon Weatherspoon (193, college: FAU) who scored that evening 28 points and swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) supported him with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Four Paisas players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) by guard Delano Spencer (193-1994, college: Tennessee St.) did not help to save the game for Cimarrones . Forward Corey Sanders (188-1997, college: Rutgers) added 23 points for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Paisas have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record. Cimarrones lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with five games lost.
