Very important is a road loss of second rankedStorm (3-5) against fourth ranked Piratas (3-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Storm was defeated by Piratas in Bogota 84-68 . Panamanian Justin Quintero (193-1998) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Darwin Blanco (188-2003) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Piratas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Emmitt Williams (198-1998, college: LSU) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Piratas moved-up to second place. Carrib.Storm at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Motilones.
