Regular Season Round 6: Cimarrones - Sabios 110-73

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Quibdo-Choco where one of their biggest challengersSabios (4-5) were rolled over by fourth ranked Cimarrones (3-6) 110-73 on Sunday. Cimarrones made 18-of-18 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Cimarrones had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was also dominated by American players. Guard Delano Spencer (193-1994, college: Tennessee St.) scored 28 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Corey Sanders (188-1997, college: Rutgers) chipped in 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Walyn Napper (185-2000, college: Longwood) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Greg Heckstall (202-1996, college: Hampton) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Cimarrones and four Sabios players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cimarrones maintains fourth position with 3-6 record. Sabios lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with five games lost.
