LBP top team -Paisas (15-5) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Piratas (4-16) in Medellin 104-78 . Paisas dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Piratas ' 34. They outrebounded Piratas 46-25 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Augustin Lamar chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Felipe Soler (-1998) produced 15 points and 9 assists and Panamanian Justin Quintero (193-1998) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Five Paisas and four Piratas players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Paisas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-5 record. Piratas lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 16 games lost.
