The most exciting game of round 8 in the LBP took place in Cali. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengersToros (11-9) to second ranked Storm (11-9) 93-90 in the game for the second place. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Romario Roque (180-1998) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Eden Ewing (204-1997, college: Texas Southern) produced 19 points and 5 assists and Brazilian center Dikembe Andre (206-1999) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Carrib.Storm and four Toros Del Valle players scored in double figures. Carrib.Storm maintains second position with 11-9 record having four points less than leader Paisas, which they share with Toros Del Valle and Motilones.
