Regular Season Round 2: Carrib.Storm - Cimarrones 105-95
Date: October 14, 2025
Very expected game whenCimarrones lost to Storm in San Andres Island 95-105 on Tuesday. Carrib.Storm dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Cimarrones ' 44. Carrib.Storm forced 20 Cimarrones turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Carrib.Storm made 8 blocks. The former international forward Romario Roque (180-1998) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and supported him with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Storm's coach used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 29 points and 25 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) by American guard Terry Armstrong (200-2000, college: Arizona) did not help to save the game for Cimarrones . Dominican guard Carlos Carela (185-2000) added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the guests. Five Carrib.Storm and four Cimarrones players scored in double figures. Storm will meet Sabios in the next round. Cimarrones will play against Toros Del Valle in Cali and hope to win that game.
