Regular Season Round 4: Cimarrones - Sabios 67-80

There was no surprise in Quibdo-Choco where bottom-rankedCimarrones (0-6) were defeated by fifth ranked Sabios (3-3) 80-67 on Tuesday. Sabios made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan swingman Kevin Nino (195-1991) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 8 rebounds and who added 11 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Sabios' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Dominican Bernardo Polanco (189-1994) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and Dominican guard Carlos Carela (185-2000) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Cimarrones players scored in double figures. Sabios moved-up to fourth place. Loser Cimarrones still closes the standings with six games lost.
