Regular Season Round 5: Cimarrones - Caimanes 74-72

The most exciting game of round 5 in the LBP took place in Quibdo-Choco. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 4th placedCaimanes (3-3) to seventh ranked Cimarrones (1-7) 74-72 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Caimanes. The best player for the winners was Dominican swingman Juan De Los Santos (193-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Dominican Bernardo Polanco (189-1994) chipped in 25 points. Four Cimarrones players scored in double figures. Venezuelan forward Luis Bethelmy (200-1986) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Caimanes' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cimarrones maintains seventh place with 1-7 record. Caimanes at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Sabios and Paisas.
