No shocking result in a game in Villavicencio where second rankedCaimanes (7-3) defeated 5th ranked Storm (5-6) 96-89 on Sunday. It was a great evening for Venezuelan forward Luis Bethelmy (200-1986) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American Tirrell Brown (198-1993, college: OBU) helped adding 23 points and 4 assists. At the losing side the former international forward Michael Jackson (198-1987) responded with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Caimanes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-3 record behind leader Toros Del Valle, which they share with Paisas. Carrib.Storm lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with six games lost.
