Important game to mention about took place in Cucuta. Seventh rankedMotilones (2-4) saved a 3-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Caimanes (4-2) 103-100 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Caimanes. Motilones made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) who scored that evening 28 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) supported him with 25 points and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 assists by the former international point guard Octavio Munoz (179-2001) did not help to save the game for Caimanes . Argentinian guard Alejo Britos (187-1994) added 28 points for lost side. Five Motilones and four Caimanes players scored in double figures. Caimanes' coach Jaime Ortiz rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Motilones moved-up to sixth place. Caimanes at the other side keep the second position with two games lost.
