Very important is a road loss of third rankedPiratas (3-3) against sixth ranked Cimarrones (3-3) on Wednesday night. Visiting Piratas were defeated by Cimarrones in Quibdo-Choco 69-55 . Cimarrones forced 19 Piratas turnovers. Nigerian-American center Duby Okeke (203-1994, college: Nebraska, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds. American point guard TyLik Evans (173-1996, college: USC Aiken) contributed with 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. point guard David Soler (181-1998) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Panamanian forward Aaron Gedeon (203-1999, college: Southwest) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Piratas. Piratas' coach Jose Tapias tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cimarrones moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Piratas and Sabios.
